How to find us…

The Poole hyperbaric unit is found at number 7 Parkstone Road (A350), Poole, Dorset BH15 2NN. This road links Poole to Bournemouth and east of Poole via the A35, and to Weymouth and the west of Poole via the A350 which links again to the A35 main route.

We have limited parking available at the unit, available on first come first served basis. Our building is marked, but when you approach for the first time we are by the corner of the one way system on Parkstone Road, directly opposite the Poole Town Surgery and next to the cream Coles Miller solicitor’s building.

By Rail or Bus:

Poole Railway station is within 5 minutes walk of the hyperbaric centre. From the station use the subway to follow directions to Poole Hospital, which will take you to Longfleet Road. Walk 500 metres up where the road will go straight on for the main hospital entrance, and to the right then immediately to the left onto Parkstone Road.

By Air:

The landing site used to transfer emergency patients is at the nearby Whitecliff recreation ground. This is attended by local Coastguard officials, South Western Ambulance and the duty hyperbaric doctor to receive the patient before the 2 minute transfer to the hyperbaric facility. Air ambulances should liaise with South Western Ambulance to arrange the landing site and transfer. Search and Rescue and other helicopter transfers should liaise with Portland Coastguard to arrange landing site and transfer.
